Planisware again placed as a leader in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Project and Portfolio Management. Analysts Daniel B. Stang, Mbula Schoen, and Anthony Henderson evaluated 17 PPM providers on 15 criteria to determine placement within the quadrant.
From Gartner’s report, “Continuous delivery is driving more PPM leaders to connect aligned strategic business investments with diversified, changing delivery focused on time to value. This Magic Quadrant evaluates PPM providers offering technology to support these endeavors.”
Planisware’s positioning as a leader is based on the organization’s ability to execute and completeness of vision, both of which advanced compared to the 2018 report.
Planisware has significantly expanded its offering through recent acquisitions. The new Orchestra application adds a cloud-based Collaborative PPM product to Planisware’s product line to better meet the needs of collaborative teams in agile organizations, as well as those of mid-market IT PPM. With the acquisition of b-software, Planisware now offers a comprehensive Managed Services offering. A recent upgrade in SaaS hosting enables Planisware to have direct ownership of all of its SaaS infrastructure, dramatically reducing the time needed to address issues and adapt the system to evolving business needs.
