Planisware User Summit 2017 Trip Report

Planisware's User Summit in North America is an annual event that offers a unique opportunity for attendees to discuss best practices and how to improve PPM processes to better innovate and improve project and program delivery. This event is exclusive to the Planisware community (customers and partners).

Pierre Demonsant, Planisware founder and CEO began the summit with a presentation of company achievements in 2016, noting a 164% surge in SaaS implementations last year. He also provided attendees with a product roadmap and detailed his vision for Planisware’s future.

This was followed by a Planisware V6.2 software demonstration by Director of Client Solutions, Mark Miller, who presented product enhancements, including integrated Agile capabilities, Workbox and changes to Planisware Explorer.

During two days, attendees chose from 30 educational and interactive sessions focused on how to improve program, product, and project portfolio management methodologies. These were led by Planisware consultants, industry thought leaders including Dr. Kenneth Kahn, Dr. Michael Menke, and Dr. Richard Bayney and an abundance of subject matter experts. A variety of sessions focused on process vs. implementation best practices well-suited for both new and experienced PPM audiences offered attendees a comprehensive view of the power of PPM and the practical steps for how to gain PPM maturity and measure and improve results.
