Terry Doerscher

Terry Doerscher is a highly experienced practitioner, consultant and educator, specializing in Project Portfolio Management (PPM) and the corporate PMO.

Mr. Doerscher provides support to a broad spectrum of organization types, sizes, and industry sectors, working with each customer to tailor best-fit practices aligned to their unique needs, capabilities and culture, often combining techniques drawn from a variety of different traditional, agile and adaptive management approaches.

Terry is a cited industry expert, writer, and speaker. He is the co-author of the award-winning book, Taming Change with Portfolio Management (Durbin & Doerscher, 2010 Greenleaf Press), a contributing author to several other titles, as well as numerous published best practices, whitepapers, and research reports. He is a long-time member of the Project Management Institute, and served on the working group to define PMO Frameworks, published in 2013. Collectively, his work has been recognized by professional organizations and industry analysts as a catalyst for redefining the role of the modern corporate PMO.
