Spiro Theopoulos, B.Comm.(M.I.S.), PMP

Spiro has over 20 years of practical and first-hand experience in project, program, portfolio, and resource management and currently serves as the Vice President of The Project Group (TPG) Canada.

His experience has spanned various industries including aerospace, pharmaceutical, biomedical, manufacturing, construction, banking, utilities, and telecommunications. He possesses an uncanny ability in aiding organizations in leveraging and optimizing the use software solutions within an enterprise.


Spiro has dedicated himself in aiding organizations implement Project & Portfolio Management (PPM) solution solutions since 2002. He holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) designation from the Project Management Institute (PMI) since 2002. He received his Bachelor of Commerce degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) from McGill University in 1986.


In the domain of PPM integration, implementation and knowledge transfer, Spiro has been characterized by clients as being a leader who is very knowledgeable, dynamic, versatile and a responsible individual, who possesses excellent interpersonal communication, organization, and leadership skills. He is an effective team-builder and one who works well under pressure. Spiro is also reputed to be a dynamic and effective instructor/ trainer who for over 20 years has helped countless clients and project professionals improve their skills and their organizations attain their objectives.
